Mel’s 2nd Blogger Recognition Award

2017 was about to end when I was nominated by the awesome It’s An Anime Thing, thank you for the nomination!! I mean we just met each other and you already nominated me, you are really a cool person.

Rules

  1. Say thanks to who nominated you and leave a link back to that person’s blog.
  2. Give the story or history of your blog.
  3. give two or more pieces of advice for new bloggers.
  4. Nominate 10 other bloggers.
  5. Comment on the nominated blogs and let them know they’ve been nominated and leave a link to the post.

History time

At first I was supposed to used Tumblr as sole blogging platform, however I quickly realized it wouldn’t be enough, mainly cause of the visual. Then I remember WordPress, I used to have a Kpop blog (that I deleted a look time ago, so don’t try to look for it), I also remember how easy it was to use. WordPress was allowing me to do lot more than Tumblr. This is why I decide to switch to WordPress. Each is probably one of the best decision I took, cause if I haven’t done it I would have not meet a lot of amazing aniblogger.

Listen to Mel’s Wisdom

Okay I’m not that wise, but it’s still sound cool

Don’t compare yourself to other, each person is different, each blogger is different. It is normal to think differently than someone else, your point of view doesn’t have to be the same. If you think your blog look great the way it is, don’t change it just to fit in the mold, don’t change our content to please the other. If your reader like it the way it is, let it the way it is. I think for a community to work, it need diversity.

To me the most important part of my blogging life, is to enjoy the process. If you are not enjoying it anymore it might be because you put too much pressure on yourself. If you pressure yourself to write more content, might eventually lose the enjoyment factor and you will begin to feel like blogging is becoming more like a task you must do instead of something fun you are doing to let out the stressed of the day.

And the Nominees are

I should be able to let everybody know on WordPress…I should

  1. Some valuable words indeed, as I often find myself comparing my writing to so-and-so’s when we have completely different mindsets and skill sets. We should all feel valued. Thanks for the nomination—you’re starting of 2018 very generously!
