Favorite Episode of the Week

I have some trouble choosing my favorite episode of the week. I was a few I really like, but I really try to only choose one for now on, it’s “episode of the week” and not “episodes of the week” after all. So for this week I stopped my choice of the episode 4 of Cardcaptor Sakura: Clear Card Arc (Sakura and the Lovely Transfer Student). Finally a new character is making its appearance (not counting the one in Sakura’s dream even if… nah let’s not talk about theories here). I remember really linking Akiho when she first appear in the manga, she is lovely as Sakura. Of course we had a new card, the “Action” card which move thing around ( I wouldn’t mind having that one at work), I also love seeing the interaction between Sakura and her big brother, Toya, even if the latter annoy her, you can see he care about her as much as he use too, maybe even a bit more now since he doesn’t have any power anymore. What else about this episode that was interesting…OH I started around here in the manga to have suspicions about Syaoran and Eriol, they both know what is going on or have a little idea, which really annoy me since the purposely leaving our poor magical girl in the dark.

Hi!! hope everyone is doing good and you all had a great week.

My week was kind of ok nothing particular nor exciting happen to me. I have a really boring personal life. My blogging life is more exciting…I think.

  1. Thanks for linking to my post.
I agree with you on Death March. If I wasn’t watching it as an experiment to see how I go watching something I’ve read the source material for previously, I would have dropped it as well at this point.

    • There was a lot of stuff bothering me with it. First the visual, I have the feeling the forgot how perspective works. Second I normally doesn’t really care about the narrative, but somethings seemed of with it. Like if the studio didn’t really care about the story.

      • I think the real issue is how they’ve chosen to present it. The books essentially become a travel guide to another world which means they should just slow the pace down and give us some truly spectacular settings to cover over how flimsy the plot is, and yet they given us sub-par visuals and just plod along letting stuff happen. It really isn’t a well thought out adaptation.
