Monday in Music – Flowers (Saki Midareshi Hana) by GIGS

Series: Prince of Tennis
Artist: Echizen (C.V: Junko Minagawa), Tezuka (C.V: Ryōtarō Okiayu ), Atobe (C.V: Junichi Suwabe), Sanada (C.V: Taiten Kusunoki)
Type: Character Song

“Flowers” is one of the two song performed by the quartet GIGS formed by Echizen (Seigaku), Tezuka (Seigaku), Atobe (Hyotei) and Sanada (Rikkaidai). The track was used as opening for the National Arc OVA from episode 1 to 8.

“Flower” is a rock/dance track that have the particular anime song flavor, it kind of reminds me song from GRavitation. Like all the Prince of Tennis character song, the track of nothing to do with the character singing it, but I don’t care, the song is really catchy and I can’t help but dance when I hear it, humming the melody.

  1. I remember this! Brings back memories…
Prince of tennis is one of my all time favorites, and Junichi Suwabe is the best anime voice actor in the world ❤
