[K-Friday] Busted! Episode 2 to 4

After watching the first episode, I knew I had to watch them all, this is certainly the time of tv show I love. I’m surprised that I’m actually willing to sit for 1h40 and watch one episode of the series even if it’s not an anime.

Now it’s it time to take a look that three new episodes of the  korean variety Busted!

Episode 2 – Treasure Island

I’m pretty sure this second episode of Busted! was sponsored by Jeju tourist office, cause after watching it, I really wanted to visit all the place the cast go.

In this episode, we found the cast on Jeju Island and they go for a treasure hunt at the request of a Rich Man, the man died some time ago, but each year he asked one of his friend, a museum director, to hold a treasure hunt. Now the team have all their seven member, Kim Sejeong was supposed to be part of them since day one, however her invitation was stolen by last week culprit…talking about that, you will get the resolve of that case only toward the end of the episode. In the beginning of this second episode, we have a much proper introduction to the cast, also we get to know who is the mysterious K…their boss.

After a brief explanation about the Project D (we can guess that D stand for Detective), K

The detectives accept the case and leave to find the treasure, they get their first hint to find the treasure in a verse of a poem given by the museum director. This hint lead the group to a green tea plantation and there they have their first task to do wish is a life-size Sadaritagi (Amidakuji in japanese also known as Ghost Leg). During this game, the long-time Running Man viewer can see Yoo Jaesuk bad luck followed him in Busted!

During this episode, YJS also made a Detective Conan from himself by solving a closed room murder. To be honest, soon as I saw the stuff he found in the victim bag I knew where is reasoning will go.

After travelling across the south korean island, passing by the sea (where we discover Sehun have a diving license) and a beautiful maze made a stone, our talented detective team found out the truth about the museum director.

Episode 3 – Kwang-Soo, a Murderer

From the 4 episode I watched so far, this was my least favorite, not cause of want happen to that poor Kwangsoo (poor him he got framed), but cause I didn’t felt anything toward this episode. One it wasn’t as funny as the other and two the real murderer got away, so we have an other episode where the case didn’t get a closure. Now I hope the real murderer was or would be arrested in future episode.

Episode 4 – Message from the Dead.

This episode wasn’t as funny as the second episode, however it was better than the third episode.

We found back our team investigating on a the murder of a young high school student. The team need to find you killed the young man and they have more than one suspect who were all friend with the victim.

This is episode brought me back some memories of Running Man, when they were chasing each other in closed building. It was a giant hide and seek game, the type of game everyone would want to play once in their life.

At the end of the episode the murder got arrested and YJS made a Conan Edogawa of himself once again by telling the murder he shouldn’t have killed her, the reason why he killed her was childish even more the weapon use since it was something the victim had given him.

*******************

After four episodes I have a better idea of how thing goes, of course this is just my way to see it, I feel the culprit get away only if the detectives doesn’t get to him in time. It take time to solve the mysteries and find hints and clues, it also takes time to get to the different location. All this pit together, make me think that faster the solve their the mystery, faster they find hint and clue, better are their chance to arrest the culprit.
